In the context of the implementation of the Indonesia Payment Systems Blueprint 2025, Bank Indonesia implements Bank Indonesia - Fast Payment with the aim to support industry consolidation and end-to-end national digital economic and financial integration that is nationally driven, as well as to support the achievement of a fast, easy, cheap, safe, and reliable payment system. The implementation of Bank Indonesia - Fast Payment is also in line with Bank Indonesia's future policy directions in the monetary, macroprudential, and payment system sectors. This aims to support the establishment of an integrated, interoperable, and interconnected digital financial economic ecosystem. Based on these considerations, on 28 November 2023, the Members of the Board of Governors of Bank Indonesia stipulated Regulation of the Members of the Board of Governors of Bank Indonesia Number 17 Year 2023 regarding Implementation of Bank Indonesia - Fast Payment.
Dalam rangka implementasi Blueprint Sistem Pembayaran Indonesia 2025, Bank Indonesia menyelenggarakan Bank Indonesia - Fast Payment dengan tujuan mendukung konsolidasi industri dan integrasi ekonomi dan keuangan digital nasional secara end-to-end yang bersifat national driven, serta untuk mendukung tercapainya sistem pembayaran yang cepat, mudah, murah, aman, dan andal. Penerapan Bank Indonesia - Fast Payment juga selaras dengan arah kebijakan Bank Indonesia ke depan dalam sektor moneter, makroprudensial, dan sistem pembayaran yang bertujuan untuk mendukung terbentuknya ekosistem ekonomi keuangan digital yang integrated, interoperable, dan interconnected. Berdasarkan pertimbangan tersebut, pada tanggal 28 November 2023, Anggota Dewan Gubernur Bank Indonesia menetapkan Peraturan Anggota Dewan Gubernur Bank Indonesia Nomor 17 Tahun 2023 tentang Penyelenggaraan Bank Indonesia - Fast Payment.
