Policy for a Sustainable Future : Indonesia's Path to Renewable Energy May 17 - 18 2022

Dear AmCham & Initiative Members,

Indonesia has made a number of efforts to achieve its ambitious energy transition targets as set in the COP26 climate summit, from introducing innovative tools for sustainable financing to developing dedicated green industrial areas.

But how far we are from realistically fulfilling zero-emission targets and what will successful implementation look like in the short- and long-term? With the private sector increasingly seeking to decarbonize and invest more in renewable energy, there is also a need for stronger commitment and support mechanisms from the government.

Join us for our first Policy for a Sustainable Future : Indonesia's Path to Renewable Energy mission under Initiative Indonesia to discuss government policy toward sustainability, carbon credits, company strategies and sustainable investment. With this event, we aim to connect prominent government stakeholders, experts, and leading businesses to discuss goals and progress and to explore ways to enhance collaboration in the sector.
