US Power Working Group for Indonesia’s first activity in 2021

Please join US Embassy Jakarta for the US Power Working Group for Indonesia’s first activity in 2021. With a very challenging year behind us and with hopes that business activity will return to pre-pandemic levels in the near future, we look forward to a discussion of what is on the near horizon for Indonesia and the region’s energy sector.

We are pleased to welcome speakers from the US Department of Treasury, the US Trade and Development Agency, the International Development Finance Corporation, and the US Agency for International Development as well as senior representatives from the Government of Indonesia. Our discussion will focus on:

  • US and Indonesia government resources that can be utilized to improve infrastructure financing in the energy sector;
  • Update on US and Indonesia programs focused on increasing the renewables contribution to Indonesia’s power production;
  • US government resources and programs for pre-project development and project financing;
  • Upcoming activities supported by the US embassy and the government of Indonesia in the energy sector.
  • There will be an opportunity to ask questions of the speakers and contribute to our efforts planned for the coming year.

The event will be online in full support of Indonesia’s efforts to curtail the ongoing public health challenges. A link to the online webinar will be provided to all approved registrants. A full agenda will be available in the coming days.
