Dear Friends and Colleagues,

I am certainly repeating myself, but time continues to be really flying, not only when it comes to scheduling our next Services Breakfast, but also in general.

Regarding the former, please mark your calendars for the morning of Tuesday, June 17, from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM, and allow a bit of extra time to mingle with participants from other service sectors during our regular “around-the-table” breakfast information exchange at the Jakarta American Club.

In addition to the input, I am asking you to provide during the session, please also prepare a brief summary of that information, which I will later incorporate into the minutes of the meeting, to be shared amongst the participants, not only to fall back on potentially important material, but also to serve as valuable input to regional and head offices, that tend to appreciate the resulting portrait, of the environment, we all are committed to.

We will also conduct our regular “Temperature Take” of the current business climate, to see how things may have gotten better or worse, looking back at the May 28th, where we had rather disconcerting results of 72.2% NEGATIVE and only 27.8% POSITIVE votes, from the represented 24 companies.

For potential newcomers to the AmCham services breakfast, you will have the opportunity to meet a rather large cross section of business representatives, usually ranging from banking, insurance, security, legal, real estate, tax audit, hospitality, accounting, health, forwarding, IT, digital marketing, education, energy, retail, F&B and various consulting sectors, including the U.S. Embassy, and get a chance to listen to the latest update, regarding the AmCham office.

All of you, please be so kind to register your participation, with the AmCham office, and follow their requests, for details regarding automobiles, to be allowed to enter the American Club premises. 

I am looking forward to a great “Breakfast Session” on the 17th of June, and to greeting as many old as well as new friends, as possible.
