On 24 December 2024, the Vice Chairperson of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority as a Member of the Board of Commissioners Substituting the Chairperson of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority, issued Regulation of the Chairperson of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority Number 40 Year 2024 regarding Financial Technology Peer-to-Peer Lending. This regulation is stipulated to regulate Financial Technology Peer-to-Peer Lending whose business model utilizes the use of Information Technology in a complex manner and contributes to high risk exposure.
Pada tanggal 24 Desember 2024, Wakil Ketua Dewan Komisioner Otoritas Jasa Keuangan Selaku Anggota Dewan Komisioner Pengganti Ketua Dewan Komisioner Otoritas Jasa Keuangan menetapkan Peraturan Ketua Dewan Komisioner Otoritas Jasa Keuangan Nomor 40 Tahun 2024 tentang Layanan Pendanaan Bersama Berbasis Teknologi Informasi. Peraturan ini ditetapkan untuk mengatur Layanan Pendanaan Bersama Berbasis Teknologi Informasi yang model bisnisnya menggunakan pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi secara kompleks dan menyumbangkan eksposur risiko yang cukup tinggi.
