On 2 October 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia stipulated Regulation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Number 8 Year 2024 regarding Diplomatic Visa and Service Visa. This regulation is stipulated because Regulation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Number 6 Year 2018 regarding Diplomatic Visa and Service Visa is considered no longer in accordance with the needs of the law, society, and organizations so that it needs to be replaced.
Pada tanggal 2 Oktober 2024, Menteri Luar Negeri Republik Indonesia menetapkan Peraturan Menteri Luar Negeri Nomor 8 Tahun 2024 tentang Visa Diplomatik dan Visa Dinas. Peraturan ini ditetapkan karena Peraturan Menteri Luar Nomor 6 Tahun 2018 tentang Visa Diplomatik dan Visa Dinas dianggap sudah tidak sesuai dengan kebutuhan hukum, masyarakat, dan organisasi sehingga perlu diganti.
