Amendment to Provisions on Exemption from Import Duty and/or Non-Collection of Tax in the Context of Import on Import of Goods for Operation of Geothermal Implementation Activity

Perubahan Ketentuan tentang Pembebasan Bea Masuk dan/atau Tidak Dipungut Pajak dalam Rangka Impor atas Impor Barang untuk Kegiatan Penyelenggaraan Panas Bumi

On 22 November 2022, the Minister of Finance stipulated Regulation of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia Number 172/PMK.04/2022 regarding Amendment to Regulation of the Minister of Finance Number 218/PMK.04/2019 regarding Exemption from Import Duty and/or Non-Collection of Tax in the Context of Import on Import of Goods for Operation of Geothermal Implementation Activity. The regulation is stipulated to amend Regulation of the Minister of Finance Number 218/PMK.04/2019 regarding Exemption from Import Duty and/or Non-Collection of Tax in the Context of Import on Import of Goods for Operation of Geothermal Implementation Activity in the context of accommodating government policies on the use of geothermal sector infrastructure financing funds and to intensify the development of the geothermal implementation sector.
Pada tanggal 22 November 2022, Menteri Keuangan menetapkan Peraturan Menteri Keuangan Republik Indonesia Nomor 172/PMK.04/2022 tentang Perubahan atas Peraturan Menteri Keuangan Nomor 218/PMK.04/2019 tentang Pembebasan Bea Masuk dan/atau Tidak Dipungut Pajak dalam Rangka Impor atas Impor Barang untuk Kegiatan Penyelenggaraan Panas Bumi. Peraturan tersebut ditetapkan untuk mengubah Peraturan Menkeu Republik Indonesia Nomor 218/PMK.04/2019 tentang Pembebasan Bea Masuk dan/atau Tidak Dipungut Pajak dalam Rangka Impor atas Impor Barang untuk Kegiatan Penyelenggaraan Panas Bumi dalam rangka mengakomodasi kebijakan pemerintah mengenai penggunaan dana pembiayaan infrastruktur sektor panas bumi dan untuk meningkatkan pengembangan sektor penyelenggaraan panas bumi.
