On 12 July 2023, the Governor of Bank Indonesia stipulated Regulation of the Governor of Bank Indonesia Number 3 Year 2023 regarding Consumer Protection of Bank Indonesia. This regulation was stipulated because, with the innovation and digitalization of products/services in the financial sector which have the potential to increase risks for consumers, it is necessary to strengthen regulations on the principles of consumer protection of Bank Indonesia.
Pada tanggal 12 Juli 2023, Gubernur Bank Indonesia menetapkan Peraturan Gubernur Bank Indonesia Nomor 3 Tahun 2023 tentang Pelindungan Konsumen Bank Indonesia. Peraturan ini ditetapkan karena dengan adanya inovasi dan digitalisasi produk/layanan di sektor keuangan yang berpotensi meningkatkan risiko bagi konsumen, diperlukan penguatan pengaturan prinsip pelindungan konsumen oleh Bank Indonesia.
