Pada tanggal 30 Desember 2022, Presiden Republik Indonesia menetapkan Peraturan Pemerintah Pengganti Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 2 Tahun 2022 tentang Cipta Kerja. Peraturan tersebut ditetapkan untuk menyesuaikan berbagai aspek pengaturan terkait cipta kerja, di antaranya terkait kawasan ekonomi, dalam rangka menciptakan pekerjaan dan mempermudah pelaku usaha dalam melakukan investasi.
