Pada tanggal 12 Desember 2022, Presiden Republik Indonesia menetapkan Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 50 Tahun 2022 tentang Tata Cara Pelaksanaan Hak dan Pemenuhan Kewajiban Perpajakan. Salah satu ketentuan yang diatur dalam peraturan tersebut adalah mengenai pembukuan, pemeriksaan, serta penetapan dan ketetapan dalam perpajakan.
