On 2 February 2021, the President of the Republic of Indonesia stipulated Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 29 Year 2021 regarding Organization of Trade Sector. One of the provisions stipulated in the regulation is related to the use or completeness of Indonesian language label. In addition, on 10 February 2022, the Head of Halal Product Assurance Organizing Agency also stipulated provisions related to label in Decision of the Head of Halal Product Assurance Organizing Agency Number 40 Year 2022 regarding Stipulation of Halal Label.

Pada tanggal 2 Februari 2021, Presiden Republik Indonesia menetapkan Peraturan Pemerintah Republik Indonesia Nomor 29 Tahun 2021 tentang Penyelenggaraan Bidang Perdagangan. Salah satu ketentuan yang ditetapkan dalam peraturan tersebut adalah terkait penggunaan atau kelengkapan label berbahasa Indonesia. Selain itu, pada tanggal 10 Februari 2022, Kepala Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal juga menetapkan ketentuan terkait label dalam Keputusan Kepala Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal Nomor 40 Tahun 2022 tentang Penetapan Label Halal.
