HEALTHCARE FORUM: COVID-19 THIRD WAVE AND PLANS GOING FORWARD


Dear AmCham Members and Friends, In light of the third Covid-19 wave in Indonesia, AmCham Indonesia invites you to join our latest healthcare forum, Covid-19 Third Wave and Plans Going Forward,on Thursday, February 17 at 09:00 – 10:30 am.


We believe the forum will provide a fresh update on the Covid-19 situation in Indonesia, which is crucial in planning corporate health and safety responses in 2022. With guests from different fields – the government, representative of hospitals, and doctors – we hope the discussion will bring rich perspectives on the pandemic and what the private sector can do to support the healthcare services sector in mitigating the severe impact of the pandemic.

Prof Wiku Adiasasmito

Expert Coordinator, National Spokesperson for the Covid-19 National Taskforce

Prof Drh Wiku Bakti Bawono Adisasmito, MSc, PhD is the Head of the Expert Team as well as the Spokesperson of the Indonesian Covid-19 Task Force. He earned his Master of Science degree in 1990 from Colorado State University and his PhD in 1995 from the same university.

He is an academician at Universitas Indonesia, teaching courses such as Analysis and Health Policy, Hospital Management and Environmental Management. He has served in various organizations, such as Indonesia's National Committee for Avian Influenza Control and Pandemic Influenza Preparedness (Komnas FBPI), Asia Partnership on Emerging Infectious Disease Research (APEIR), Connecting Organisations for Regional Disease Surveillance (CORDS), South East Asia One Health University Network (SEAOHUN), Indonesia One Health University Network (INDOHUN), Matsushita Gobel Foundation, Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency (BPPN) and Pelangi NGO.

 

Dr Siti Nadia Tarmizi

Director for Prevention and Control of Vector-borne and Zoonotic Diseases (P2TVZ) & Spokesperson on Covid-19 Vaccination, Ministry of Health

Dr Siti Nadia Tarmizi is the Director for Prevention and Control of Vector-borne and Zoonotic Diseases (P2TVZ). She is also the current spokesperson on Covid-19 vaccination from the Ministry of Health. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia and holds a Masters in Epidemiology. In 2016 she was awarded Bhakti Karya Husada Dwi Windu, which is given to civil servants who carry out their duties for at least 16 years.

 

Dr Bambang Wibowo, SpOG(K),

MARS – Chairman of Indonesian Hospitals Association (PERSI)*

Dr Bambang Wibowo is the chairman of the Indonesian Hospital Association (PERSI) for the period 2021–2024. He replaced Dr Kuntjoro Adi Purjanto, who was PERSI’s chairman for two periods. Previously, Dr Bambang was the Director General of Health Services, Ministry of Health for five years (2016–2021), and was appointed as the Primary Clinical Expert Educator within the Ministry of Health on July 2020. He was born in Semarang, August 20, 1961.

Dr Ronald Irwanto Natadidjaja

Internist and Infectious Disease Consultant

Dr Ronald Irwanto Natadidjaja is an internist and infectious disease consultant. He is active at Pondok Indah Puri Indah Hospital and Siloam Hospital Kebon Jeruk. He is a member of the Indonesian Medical Association (IDI), and Indonesian Internist Association (PAPDI). He got his medical degree at the University of Indonesia, Depok, in 2004.
