On 4 August 2025, the Chairperson of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority of the Republic of Indonesia stipulated Regulation of the Chairperson of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority of the Republic of Indonesia Number 18 Year 2025 regarding Transparency and Publication of Bank Report. This regulation was stipulated to improve market discipline and to reduce the information gap. It requires strengthening transparency and publication of reports published by banks to increase public trust. The transparency of available bank information is obligated to be comprehensive, complete, accurate, updated, complete, timely, and comparable to support the strengthening of a healthy, independent, and competitive financial services sector, and play a role in maintaining financial system stability.
Pada tanggal 4 Agustus 2025, Ketua Dewan Komisioner Otoritas Jasa Keuangan Republik Indonesia menetapkan Peraturan Ketua Dewan Komisioner Otoritas Jasa Keuangan Republik Indonesia Nomor 18 Tahun 2025 tentang Transparansi dan Publikasi Laporan Bank. Peraturan ini ditetapkan untuk meningkatkan disiplin pasar dan mengurangi kesenjangan informasi, diperlukan penguatan transparansi dan publikasi laporan yang diumumkan oleh perbankan agar dapat menambah kepercayaan public serta transparansi informasi bank yang tersedia harus komprehensif, lengkap, akurat, terkini, utuh, tepat waktu, dan dapat diperbandingkan untuk mendukung penguatan sektor jasa keuangan yang sehat, mandiri, kompetitif, dan berperan dalam menjaga stabilitas sistem keuangan.
