Underwriters and Broker-Dealers are currently required to submit reports to Financial Services Authority with different frequencies and are spread out in several separate regulations. With the various types of reports that must be submitted, it is necessary to re-evaluate the number and types of reports to prevent duplication of report requests and integrate the reporting information of Underwriters and Broker-Dealers. Based on the consideration above, on 18 May 2022, the Chairperson of the Board of Commissioners of Financial Services Authority stipulated Regulation the Chairperson of the Board of Commissioners of Financial Services Authority Number 8/POJK.04/2022 regarding Reporting of Securities Company Conducting Business Activities as Underwriters and Broker-Dealers.

Penjamin Emisi Efek dan Perantara Pedagang Efek saat ini wajib menyampaikan laporan ke Otoritas Jasa Keuangan dengan frekuensi yang berbeda-beda dan tersebar dalam beberapa peraturan yang terpisah. Dengan beragamnya jenis laporan yang harus disampaikan, maka perlu adanya evaluasi kembali jumlah dan jenis pelaporan tersebut untuk menghilangkan duplikasi permintaan laporan dan mengintegrasikan informasi pelaporan Penjamin Emisi Efek dan Perantara Pedagang Efek. Berdasarkan pertimbangan tersebut, pada tanggal 18 Mei 2022, Ketua Dewan Komisioner Otoritas Jasa Keuangan menetapkan Peraturan Ketua Dewan Komisioner Otoritas Jasa Keuangan Nomor 8/POJK.04/2022 tentang Pelaporan Perusahaan Efek yang Melakukan Kegiatan Usaha sebagai Penjamin Emisi Efek dan Perantara Pedagang Efek.
